We Are Still Raising Our Motto: We Will Live With Dignity A Statement from the Strike’ Higher Leadership Committee in the Occupation Prisons To our loyal Palestinian nation, to our people.. About two weeks after the end of dignity strike “Victory or Death”, we had to keep you updated: The Prisons Service is still stalling getting the solitary confined detainees out of confinement as follows: - Keeping the abducted Engineer Dr. Dherar Moussa Abo Sisi, and brother Awad al-Saeidi in solitary confinement in Asqalan Prison, and Beir al-Sabe’ Prison consecutively. - Stalling with the third item of the agreement which is related to improving the living conditions of the detainees inside prisons as the Prisons Service’ committee that was assigned to take care of that didn’t meet with the strike leadership, and put off the meeting many times. This gave us an impression that the Prisons Service is trying to evade the agreement that was made in May 14, especially that we have filed many letters to the Prisons Service leadership, and to the committee which was negotiating with us on the last day of strike, yet we didn’t receive any clear answer to our letters. People of our proud nation, As per what we explained here above, this is an alert that we might resume the battle between the detainees, and the Prison Administration. We still have the will, and the right to go through it, and win it, with God’s help. We’re still standing firm, and keeping our promise to be loyal to our legitimate rights, and to work as hard as we can to obtain them whatever it takes. Our slogan is still: “We Will Live with Dignity.” Here we demand, from the basements of prisons, the Egyptian leadership, that was witness to our agreement with the Prisons Service, and that it was made under its supervision, force the enemy to stick to its commitment, and fulfill all items of the agreement. We also ask our nation, our groups, and our Palestinian leadership to stand, as usual, in support of us in our confrontation with the jailors. We will not abandon our will to live wit dignity, and freedom. We will not leave our right to clear solitary confinement cells, and get all the confined out. This is a promise, and may God help us succeed. God is the greatest, and pride is to the free. God is the greatest, and pride is to the men.
